Daily Attendance is Important for our Students to be Successful!

Parents - Please check our 2020-2021 District Calendar when making appointments to avoid student absences from school. We understand that some appointments during school can’t be avoided but it’s important to keep the absences to a minimum. The best time to make appointments is after 2:30 pm, on early release afternoons, or days we don’t have school scheduled.

Also, it’s important for our student-athletes to follow the 2020-2021 Brookwood Athletic Handbook absence guidelines to avoid code violations that result in athletic ineligibility.

Junior High and High School Volleyball Players and Parents – Please like and follow the “Brookwood Falcons Volleyball” Facebook page/group to keep up to date on all volleyball news. The coaches are excited and looking forward to having a great season!

All winter athletes have received a “Spectator Rules Acknowledgement Form” that must be signed by parents or guardians and returned to the athletics office.  Without this form, an athlete cannot designate spectators.  Parents: please sign and have your son / daughter return this form immediately!!!!

SPECTATOR RULES CHANGES FOR VOLLEYBALL

For the current Volleyball season, we will be utilizing a ticket system.  Each player will receive FOUR tickets that they will then distribute to the spectators of their choice. The tickets will be distributed for contests 1 – 2 days in advance.

Spectators using the tickets must:

  • PRINT FULL NAME on the back of the ticket
  • Present the ticket for admission at the door when you attend

Most schools will have the same rules, and we will let athletes know of changes in advance.
